The Department of Information technology was established in 2001 by the affiliation of University of Calicut. The programme was started with the intake of 60 students. The curriculum focuses on problem solving, design, development and application of various emerging technologies. The courses are designed to cater the ever-changing needs and demands of the IT industry and they are designed in a way to invoke students’ ability to think original and creatively.
To impart high quality education and spawn eminent graduates to carry out leading edge research in the discipline of IT.

The department of Information Technology of our college is a full fledged team with well trained faculty, who are fully dedicated towards their work, well established lab with internet facility and enthusiastic students.
