FACILITIES AVAILABLE IN THE DEPARTMENT:

INFRA STRUCTURE ELECTRICAL WORKSHOP

This lab is equipped with Dc shunt Generators, Dc Compound Generators, DC Series and Shunt Motors, Single Phase and Three Phase Transformers, AC Machines which includes Synchronous Generators, Synchronous Motors, single Phase and Three Phase Induction Motors and Three Phase Alternators This lab is used by all students in 5 departments of our college for their basic study of Machines.

ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENT LAB:

This lab is mainly used by the students of the Electrical department. Necessary facilities for measurement facilities are available. This lab is very useful for the understanding of measuring instruments in the electrical field. This lab is equipped with 1 Kelvin’s double bridge 2.Wheastones bridge 3.Measurment of Temperature by RTD 4.LVDT 5c.alibration experiments 6.Experiments on Strain gauge 7.Schering Bridge.

ADVANCED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING LAB

This lab is mainly used by the students of the Electrical department. 1.A.C.SERVOMOTOR 2.D.C.SERVOMOTOR 3.MAGNETIC AMPLIFIER 8086 MICROPROCESSOR KIT 8085 MICROCONTROLLER KIT SYNCHRO.

SYSTEM SIMULATION LAB

The department has its own software lab with sufficient number of computers and latest software packages. This lab is mainly used by the students of the Electrical department 1: Mat lab 2:Pspice 3Mi Power 4.Masm
